Solomon's Tump should actually be called 'Belas Knap', as that's the long barrow near Winchcombe I had in mind when I wrote the song. I used to go there a lot and just chill out - it's very beautiful. Solomon's Tump is the name of a village in Gloucestershire and, as far as I know, it's not the home to a neolithic burial site. However, it scanned better. The production's awful (it was recorded in the flat I was living in on a four track analogue Tascam cassette recorder) but I somehow managed to catch the essence of the song. The same thing happened with most of the tracks on that album, i.e. the sound's terrible but they feel right.
